The treasure hunt is point based rather then speed with all levels of
fitness can participate. Points are gained by getting the correct
answer to cryptic clues: these could be abstract photos of locations
they need to identify and find, and unusual facts and traditions about
the area.
The challenges are usually also linked to the history of the area. They
may also be asked to find certain items and bring them back – although
they are not allowed to pay for any items they require, they must use
their negotiating skills!
There are some wonderful Treasure Hunt locations all over the country for you to choose from.
If you would like to have an event in a new location we can research and write one for you for an additional cost.
Treasure hunts can start and finish at any venue of your choice and can
work around you and your timetable. The Treasure Hunt would last
approximately 4 hours.
There are a variety of fun themes for you to choose from or create your own.
On arrival the actors hand out packs to each team, set the story of the
Treasure Hunt, add in any additional challenges and answer any
questions. Each pack contains the clues, maps of the area, notebooks
and pens and anything else that might be relevant for the story. The
introduction takes about 10-20 minutes. The clue searching lasts about
two and a half hours. Eventually we meet at the final location that is
somewhere suitable for your group. This gives the team a chance to
relax. Answers are marked and the scores are announced and awards are
given to the winners.
