Kaiso are a fully self-contained Caribbean show band, drawn principally from the island of Trinidad. The band play excellent reggae and their knowledge of Black American and Latin styles is extensive. Consequently a typical Kaiso set might include three scoa tunes, a traditional calypso, a merengue, a disco/club number and two reggae selections. This is not a boring one-groove band!
