Solid Steel

Solid Steel is a professional steel band comprised of some of the finest pan players in the UK today. The individual musicians' roots lead directly to Trinidad, the home of the 'steel pan', arguably the most dynamic new instrument in world music. Available either as a fully-instrumental and unplugged acoustic act or as a vocally-led amplified one, they will always try to play the right material for you at the right volume whether there are two or twenty members in the band at your event. Together for the last sixteen years now they have an excellent track record in the broad variety of work that they have done. Their reputation has been further enhanced by impressive television work over the last few years as well as a busy touring schedule that has seen them perform in Europe, Africa and Asia.
