Can Can Nights

The client for this event was a creative agency that wanted a fun theme for their event. Having had the previous year’s event at the same venue they wanted to completely transform it. We decided on theme, which was a contrast to the lightly decorated rooms and so a huge chance from last year’s look and feel.
To create a very red, luxurious feel to the rooms we draped them from floor to ceiling in deep red velvet. This gave a very close, intimate feel to the space and instantly gave the event a very
themed feel. As guests arrived they were greeted by can can girls dressed in full costume. They were then directed to the stunning courtyard where a jazz band played. Whilst the champagne and canapés flowed they were entertained by a fantastic magician and could even step inside to have their fortune read.
As the night drew in guests made their way upstairs, they passed a huge Eiffel Tower on their way. They then had a choice of three spaces; The small drawing room became the casino room which also featured a rotating windmill and a red velvet chaise longe. The Long Drawing room hosted several large prints of can can girls, a seating space with ornate candelabras, the classic Moulin Rouge sign, and of course the fully themed elephant. The final room became the dancing space and with its dark panelled walls, worked well as a disco room into the late hours.
