James Bond

A regular client wanted a very themed event for their summer ball. We decided to go with a James Bond 007 theme. We really went to town with the theming so that the 800 people that attended the event would all be entertained and have lots of options of things to do on the night. The event was held in the impressive atrium at the Hurlingham Club. We used the entire venue and had lots of different elements to contribute to the theme.

As guests arrived at the venue they walked up a red carpet, past vintage Aston Martin cars into the fantastic glass roofed space. We build a large stage to hold a 10 piece swing band with a large black starcloth behind and a DJ alongside. We then hid this area behind a red velvet curtain which was then drawn back after dinner to reveal the band and the dance floor. To continue the theme we had a gaming room full of shooting and driving games so that guests could feel that they were the real James Bond! We also had a themed vodka luge and a chocolate fountain for those guests that wanted to indulge. For the guests that fancied a flutter we installed six casino tables.

To top off the night we had look-alike walkabout entertainers. We had a group of glamoress Bond girls who helped guests with the vodka luge and also greeted guests on arrival. We also had a brilliant James Bond, a huge Jaws and a great Oddjob.
