A well known law firm asked us to design a masquerade ball for their summer ball. They wanted to have a traditional feel to the event but with a fun twist as it was an event for the trainees.

We worked with the colours of the main hall largely and bought in a lot of golds and whites. We kept the lighting very low, with only the domes fully lit and the chandeliers on their lowest setting. We then bought in dramatic table centres which consisted on giant martini glasses with large ostrich feathers in golds and white and strings of pea lights. To add the fun element we filled the martini glasses with gold and cream sugared almonds so that throughout the evening the table
centres could be eaten by the guests. The client requested a fun band so we bought our a six piece
band to entice people onto the dance floor. We built a stage for them under the clock in the centre of the main hall and constructed a lighting rig to cast specialist lighting around the room and onto the musicians. Outside we created a chill out area under the arches. This gave guests who didn’t want to be on the dance floor an area in which to get away and relax with fellow colleagues. We designed areas with bean bags and low tables and had shisha pipes throughout the evening. We also had a smaller seating unit covered in cushions for those guests who wanted to chat separately.
