The client for this event wanted a very themed look and feel. The venue that we had suggested was Skinners Hall in the city, which has a beautiful panelled main hall which lent itself brilliantly to a Medieval theme.

Guests were greeted by Henry VIII and guided to the venue by court jesters and wenches. After a drinks reception they entered the dramatic dining hall, which was lit in red and gold. We bought in long banqueting tables, dinner was presented on silver plates and wine drunk from silver goblets. Large black candelabras were placed at intervals along the table with chunky cream pillar candles to cast a flickering light onto guests.

Props around the venue such as knights in armour set the mood and with all staff dressing up, this completed the feel of the event. To top it all off all guests dressed up in impressive outfits.
