For the summer of 2007 we ran a venue in the heart of Soho. We themed this venue a named it Soho Chill. The general look and feel was fun, funky and relaxed. The venue had a secret chapel which we loved and was a great wow factor for guests. We made this the chill out area for events as it was always very cool. We added in lots of red and brown cushions, Moroccan lanterns and tea lights to give a flickering light to the space.
As the summer of 2007 was very wet we created a garden room so that for the events that fell on rainy days there was a space inside that acted as a garden. We put down fake grass and
bought in bright, fun furniture and decorations. This room worked very well and was popular when the weather was less than sunny. We also had a disco room that had a black and white
dance floor, modern seating, a DJ and black and white dressing. We lit this room in a number of colours and it was perfect for when guests moved indoors later in the evening. Outside we had a gorgeous walled courtyard that needed very little dressing as it was a fantastic secret garden already. We bought in quirky colourful butterflies and placed these around the space, we hung lanterns and strung hundreds of pea lights from the trees. The garden was great during the day and transformed into a twinkly, magical space in the evenings.
