For this traditional Christmas theme we worked with a wonderful client who's brief was that they wanted a totally traditional feel, in the beautiful venue that they had chosen - Number Two Temple Place.
The venue itself is stunning and so all the theming that we bought in was designed to compliment this fabulous space. During reception guests dined on pre-dinner canapés served from red laquer trays, drank mulled wine and champagne. The mantlepices in the room were decorated with Christmas foliage, glittering holly and gold strings of pearls.
As guests moved up the grand staircase they entered the stunning dining room dressed fit for a delicious banquet. The tables were draped in gold linen, crisp cream napkins and beautiful glassware. On each table sat a tall candelabra with glittering gold candles, on a mirrored base. Guests sat on elegant gold chairs as they dined on the stunning food provided by Create caterers.
Our Wordsmith entertainer came into his element after dinner, summarising the MD's speech into a short five minute poem, leaving guests applauding.
After dinner guests returned downstairs where the room had been transformed into a party space. A black and white dance floor and DJ tempted people to dance the night away, whilst others ate from the chocolate fountain or dared to have a shot from the snowflake vodka luge. For those quieter types there was a chill out area in one of the alcoves filled with cushions in luxe fabrics.
