Soak up an entirely different City experience as daytime elegantly glides into evening at London's premier summer events facility. This glorious venue, set in five and a half acres of manicured lawns, with its spectacular purpose built structure, is ideal for daytime and evening functions and perfect for even the most ambitious summer event. Nowhere else in the City of London can offer such flexibility or beautiful surroundings.
On arrival at the City Garden, guests enter through historic wrought iron gates into the dressed walkway, draped with soft billowing fabric and atmospheric lighting. A refreshing mix of soft lemon shades and cool white highlights creates a fresh and inspiring interior décor to our impressive bar and lounge space. Soft white voiles drape from the ceiling, enhanced by contemporary lemon cube seating, stylised white candelabras and glowing embellished light boxes.
One of the most popular pastimes at the HAC is cricket particularly as the HAC has the only cricket ground in, or even near, the City. Often these cricket matches are combined with catering of some form; either an informal barbecue or reception or a quite regularly, a seated dinner with an auction and follow on entertainment. Charity 6-a-side competitions are popular and can prove to be excellent fundraising events as well as great fun. There can be few more pleasurable ways to spend a gorgeous summer’s evening than sipping a glass of pimms whilst listening to the thwack of the ball on a cricket bat (even if you have no interest in the game whatsover!)
